Jennifer Beskid, EdD, has worked for the Maryland Department of Public Safety and Correctional Services for over 18 years. Her duties have included curriculum research and development, providing training courses from entrance-level through leadership and command staff, community outreach and grant administration. She is currently employed in the Department’s Office of Government & Legislative Affairs. Dr. Beskid earned her doctorate in 2021 and the focus of her research was on the motivations of minority police recruits to complete the entrance-level police academy.
