Commander Kevin Huddle began his career with the Santa Barbara County Sheriff’s Office (California) in 1998. He has worked multiple assignments throughout his 22-year career including patrol, field training officer, SWAT, background investigator, major crimes detective sergeant, motor sergeant, patrol bureau lieutenant, sheriff’s adjutant, manager of the coroner’s unit and a commander of a patrol division.
Commander Huddle has a bachelor’s degree in criminal justice from California State University at Long Beach. He is a graduate of the Sherman Block Supervisory Leadership Institute Class #277, PERF Senior Management Institute for Police Class #67 and the California POST Command College Class #66. Commander Huddle is an associate instructor for Allan Hancock College and has lectured at several national, state and local conferences.
