Anthony Tassone is an entrepreneur and pioneer in the field of Natural Language Processing (NLP), a branch of artificial intelligence. Mr. Tassone built and sold GreenKey, an advanced audio analytics platform used by Wall Street banks and government agencies to analyze phone calls at scale. Anthony is from a proud military and law enforcement family and is on the board of the FBI National Academy Foundation. He is the co-founder and CEO of Truleo, an audio analytics platform that processes 100% of a department’s body camera videos to facilitate coaching, promote police professionalism, and automate tedious tasks.

Dr. Ian Adams is an Assistant Professor of Criminology and Criminal Justice at the University of South Carolina. With a Ph.D. in Political Science and a Master of Public Administration from the University of Utah, his research addresses practical police concerns, focusing on technology, policy, and personnel. He served over twelve years in state and local law enforcement. Dr. Adams aims to inform evidence-based policing policies and practices by connecting research to agency and community needs. Highly engaged with law enforcement communities and personnel, he provides high-quality scientific evidence and advice. He has published over 40 peer-reviewed pieces on topics such as police technology, police executives, police K9s, use-of-force, profanity, and sexual assault and domestic investigations. As an NIJ LEADS Academic, a Senior Research Advisor to the Excellence in Policing & Public Service program, and the managing editor of Police Practice & Research: An International Journal, Dr. Adams contributes to the development of evidence-based practices in policing.
