PASCO COUNTY, Fla. — Bodycam footage captured by a Florida deputy shows his K-9 partner pursuing and stopping a fleeing suspect in an epic takedown Sept. 4, according to Fox News.
Pasco County Sheriff’s Deputy Nick Carmack was trying to pull over a vehicle he suspected was stolen when the suspect and another passenger got out and started to run.
That’s when Carmack deployed Shep, who took off after the suspect.
Video shows Shep jumping a fence to pursue the man, then tackling him and keeping him pinned to the ground until Carmack handcuffs him.
The second suspect who fled was captured by another K-9, Knox, and Deputy Rob Wilkins.
The suspects are charged with grand theft auto, fleeing to elude, criminal mischief and child neglect for leaving an infant in the car when they fled.
