CHICAGO — A bloody man armed with a screwdriver livestreamed a fight between him and a group of people.
The 24-year-old man pulled out the screwdriver after he was hit by several men Tuesday, according to DNA Info. Police said the armed man injured two 22-year-old women.
Videos streamed on Facebook show the incident and the aftermath of the attack. At one point in the video, the man turns the camera on himself to show his bloody chest and arms. An edged weapon can be seen in the man’s hand as he throws gang signs and uses gang slogans.
A man armed with a long pole threatened the screwdriver-wielding man. The bloodied man warns him that they “better not be here because I’ma start shooting.”
Police arrived and transported the bloodied man to the hospital. Officials said he suffered serious injuries to his face. One of the woman injured was transported to the hospital in serious condition. The second woman refuses hospitalization. It’s unclear if anyone faces charges.
