How a couple of great cops are trying to build cancer awareness

During the month of September, if they are not in uniform, they exclusively wear kilts

September is Prostate Cancer Awareness month. Two of our contributors, co-founded a charity, Kilted to Kick Cancer. Their goal is to raise awareness during the month of September. Over the last four years, these gentlemen have grown tthe kilted army to cover 33 of the 50 states.

During the month of September, if they are not in uniform, they exclusively wear kilts. Everywhere. Have you ever seen someone wearing a pink T-shirt and wondered why? More than likely not. However, if someone walks in the same room wearing a kilt, you’ll have the same question as everyone else, “What’s under the kilt?”

The answer is a 1 in 7 chance at being diagnosed with prostate cancer.
