Santa visited Redmond, Washington, to deliver 12 of 15 new B&W patrol vehicles. These vehicles, set to hit the streets soon, proudly display updated graphics featuring the 988 crisis line for free crisis counseling. This initiative, inspired by Bryan Waugh, chief of the Kearney (Nebraska) Police Department, underscores the importance of accessible mental health resources. The effort aligns with Redmond’s Alternative Response Unit, launching in 2025, to further enhance relational policing and community care. Thanks to Chief Darrell Lowe for sharing these pics!
