National Police Weekend 2023 event schedule announced

The National Law Enforcement Officers Memorial Fund has released the schedule for this year’s National Police Weekend.

Police Weekend 2023, hosted by the National Law Enforcement Memorial and Museum, has a slate of special events and activities honoring law enforcement, kicking off with the Annual Awards Ceremony and Reception, held at the National Law Enforcement Museum on September 29, to the nationwide Move for the Badge on September 30, as well as free admission to the National Law Enforcement Museum on September 30.

FRIDAY, SEPTEMBER 29

The annual awards ceremony and reception at the National Law Enforcement Museum will feature the 2023 Destination Zero Officer Safety and Wellness Awards, highlighting the 2022 and 2023 Officers of the Month and the 2023 Ambassador Impact Award.

SATURDAY, SEPTEMBER 30

The annual Nationwide Move for the Badge is the National Law Enforcement Officers Memorial Fund’s flagship community event that you can choose to participate at any time in September, but the Move for the Badge officially culminates on September 30. Participants can raise money, gather teams with friends and family anywhere in the country, and walk, run, or bike in their own communities.

The National Law Enforcement Museum will also have an Open House on September 30, offering free admission to the Museum is free. Tickets are required ahead of time for entry into the museum.
