WASHINGTON — Each year, National Police Week honors and celebrates law enforcement officers.

To help support law enforcement officers and their families in a time of need, GoFundMe launched a centralized hub for first responders in 2023.

Since 2010, more than $17M has been raised on GoFundMe for fallen and injured law enforcement officers across the country, according to the site. The first responder hub dashboard has been continuously updated throughout the year.

Active fundraisers from the past year include:

Police Officer Jonathan Diller - On March 25, 2024, NYPD Officer Jonathan Diller was tragically killed in the line of duty. He leaves behind a wife and a 1 year old child.

• Assist CMPD Officers & US Marshals killed in tragic shooting - Three US Marshals and one CMPD officer were killed while attempting to arrest a suspect in a home on April 29, 2024.

Honoring Sergeant Bill Hooser of Santaquin, Utah - On May 5, 2024, Sgt. Bill Hooser was killed in the line of duty during a traffic stop. He leaves behind a wife and two daughters, son in laws and his new granddaughter.

Oakland Police Officer Tuan Le - Officer Tuan Le was killed in the line of duty responding to a burglary on Dec. 29, 2023.
