WASHINGTON — The Steve Young National Honor Guard Tribute and Pipes & Drums Demonstration is a prominent event held during National Police Week, offering law enforcement organizations from across the nation an opportunity to perform ceremonial and patriotic tributes for the public. This event showcases the precision, discipline and respect that characterize these teams, which consist of highly dedicated law enforcement officers.
These teams, representing various agencies, come together to honor the memory of fallen officers and demonstrate their skills in ceremonial duties. The tribute includes a series of performances by honor guards, as well as pipes and drum bands, which play a critical role in the law enforcement community’s mourning and memorial services.
