LONG BEACH, Calif. – An officer used his baton to take down a woman who was shouting threats and blocking traffic at a busy intersection on Monday.
According to KTLA 5, the officer arrived to the scene of a woman jumping on cars.
When the officer arrived, the woman turned her attention to him, shouting threats and refusing to cooperate. At one point, she threw an object at the officer.
The officer was able to take the woman down with baton strikes. A Good Samaritan also jumped in to help the officer keep the woman pinned down.
The suspect was arrested and taken to a hospital. She was found to be intoxicated and under the influence of narcotics.
