DAYTON, Ohio — Police released dash cam footage of Friday of an April 18 pursuit that ended with a patrol car striking the fleeing suspect.
Police attempted to pull over Brandon Mann on April 17 for the alleged involvement in “illegal weapons dealing,” WKEF reported. Mann fled and got away until police spotted the vehicle the next day and pursued it.
The video shows Mann leading police on a short pursuit until he exits his car, runs in front of the police cruiser and is struck.
Mann was transported to a hospital where he was treated and released to police custody, the news station reported. He was charged with failure to comply, resisting arrest and obstruction of official business charges.
