WACO, Texas — A Nevada attorney released new raw footage Tuesday of last year’s high-profile shootout between police and multiple biker gangs, KXXV reported.
Attorney Stephen Stubbs obtained videos and evidence from the May 17, 2015 shooting between police and the Bandidos and Cossacks motorcycle clubs. Stubbs, who isn’t representing any bikers involved in the case, told KXXV news organizations contacted him to review the videos and provide his opinion.
“I just thought it was appropriate for public to see what happened and video doesn’t lie, you can certainly judge for yourself,” Stubbs said.
While Stubbs acknowledged some of the bikers should face punishment, he alleged the police made false statements and that the majority of bikers arrested didn’t do anything wrong and simply took cover when gunfire erupted.
Stubbs has represented the Bandidos in the past and drafted a press release on their behalf after the Twin Peaks shooting. He claimed the Cossacks started the fight and said he does not have bias in the case.
The shootout ended with nine deaths, dozens more injured and over 150 bikers indicted.
