POMPANO BEACH, Fla. — The Broward County Sheriff’s Office has released body camera footage from an active shooter situation at a transit maintenance facility, NBC 6 reported.

The incident occurred after 911 callers reported that Broward County Transit Employee Rafael A. Molina, 59, was pacing the facility with a gun and firing shots, according to the report. Molina shot and killed coworker Warren Chambers, 42, following an argument before deputies arrived.

“It’s crystal clear he’s waiting, he waited for quite some time for his colleague to change out and come out in his clothes and then he shot and executed him,” Broward Sheriff Gregory Tony stated.

Body camera footage from the incident shows deputies running into the facility. Several shots ring out, leading the deputies to fire numerous shots at the suspect, bringing him to the ground.

Molina was pronounced dead at the scene, according to the report. He had fired about six gunshots at deputies, none of whom were injured in the incident.

“I intend to put the Medal of Honor around all three [responding deputies]; it’s the most courageous thing I’ve seen,” Tony said.
