LOS ANGELES — The LAPD has released body camera footage of a fatal officer-involved shooting of a woman who broke into her sister’s home, set it ablaze and pointed a gun at officers, KABC reported.
The Dec. 1 incident occurred when a woman called the police saying that her sister had a gun and was in her home, according to the report. Lisa Davis, 63, had pepper-sprayed the caller and began “destroying the house,” according to the 911 call.

They find Davis in the backyard. Davis pointed a gun at an officer before officers shot her. She was taken to the hospital and later pronounced dead, according to the report.
A use-of-force investigation is still underway.
