BOSTON — Members of the Boston SWAT team have built a home for their unofficial mascot.
The Boston Police Department reported that the unit built “SWAT Cat” a condo complete with a deck, glass sliding doors, and a large interior.
The Boston Globe reported the insulated house also comes with a heating pad so SWAT Cat can stay warm during the cold Boston winters.
The cat went missing in December 2015 and police asked for the public’s assistance to find her. She turned up, and was adopted by the unit.
Police said she’s adjusting to her new digs quite well.
“SWAT Cat moved right in and looks very happy with her new custom kitty accommodations,” the unit wrote on their website.
