SEATTLE — A hair salon owner was washing a customer’s hair on Sunday when she saw three people wearing “Scream” face masks outside her business in Seattle.
Jenny Nguyen pointed at the men to her friend and said “they look so scary with the Halloween masks on,” KIRO-TV reported.
Then the men entered the Kingway Hair Salon, KING-TV reported. One wearing a black hoodie pulled out a gun and waved it at the employees and customers, surveillance obtained by KIRO-TV shows.
“Nobody move, nobody move,” the masked man can be heard saying in the video.
Nguyen told KING-TV the man demanded money from her. She was also asked to gather all of the customers’ purses for them, KCPQ reported.
“I’m still shaking when I think about it,” Nguyen told the news outlet.
Seattle police are investigating the armed robbery but told McClatchy News they are not releasing any further details.
“Scream” masks were made popular with the movie of the same name that came out in 1996.
