SILVER SPRING, Md. — New video from Maryland shows several good Samaritans come to the aid of a shooting victim, using force to subdue and disarm the gunman.
According to FOX 5 News, several good Samaritans witnessed 24-year-old Marcus Elijah Conway on the ground struggling with a man who was attempting to shoot him in the head.
Bystanders saw the victim’s body go limp and immediately jumped into action to stop the suspect from fleeing. Video shows one of the bystanders jump into the air and administer a flying kick to the suspect’s head. A woman then runs onto the scene and helps the other bystander hold Conway down as they disarm him, pinning the suspect to the ground. Additional good Samaritans helped keep Conway down until police arrived.
FOX 5 News reported the shooting victim was transported to a local hospital and is in critical condition.
