TOLEDO, Ohio — New bodycam footage shows the chaotic scene at a Fourth of July block party that turned deadly. The shooting would ultimately leave 11 wounded and a 17-year-old boy dead.
In video released by the Toledo Police Department, officers are seen and heard running toward the hail of bullets. People are heard screaming for help amid gunfire.
“Go, go! Find cover! Move, move!” a police officer is heard yelling.
According to NBC 24 News, a total of 80 rounds were fired from multiple guns at the scene – none from police officers. There are no suspects at this time; the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives is offering a $5,000 reward for information leading to an identification or arrest.
