SAN ANTONIO — Today, Devarjaye “DJ” Daniel, a 10-year-old boy with terminal cancer, will be sworn in as an explosion detection K-9 officer with the Transportation Security Administration (TSA). He adds the new honor to a host of others under his belt.

DJ, who is going through treatment for cancer, created a goal to be sworn into 100 law enforcement agencies. But he has well surpassed that goal – with today marking his 668th agency that he’s been sworn into, News 4 San Antonio reported. DJ has his sights set on beating a Guinness World Record for the feat. A

During the TSA swearing-in ceremony, DJ will meet a K-9 who was renamed “DJ” in his honor.
