COBB COUNTY, Ga. — One Georgia family is riding safer today thanks to two Cobb County deputies.

According to WSB-TV, it all began when Lt. Huval pulled over a woman for a traffic violation. While speaking with the driver, Huval saw two children in the back in ill-fitting car seats.

Instead of writing a ticket for the traffic violation, Huval escorted the driver to the sheriff’s office headquarters. There he met with Investigator Duncan who helped find to two car seats that fit better, WSB-TV reported.

Huval and Duncan then helped the family get back on their way – but more safely this time.
