HARRIS COUNTY, Texas – When millions of Texans lost power amid frigid temperatures last week, Harris County deputies stepped up to help a family in need.
The deputies were responding to a call at a local hotel where a patron couldn’t afford the room for the night, the agency wrote in a Facebook post.
“Being that he has a family with small children and the inclement weather, the deputies paid out of their pocket for the family to have a room for the night,” the agency said.
