ORLANDO, Fla. — An Orlando Police officer has gone viral on TikTok after he was caught on camera paying a good deed forward to a woman who had received a complaint last week.
Officer James Wilson responded to a complaint involving a woman acting as a street vendor, selling flowers on the side of the road the day before Valentine’s Day, according to a post by the Fraternal Order of Police Lodge #25, Inc.
Instead of writing her up for selling without a permit, Wilson decided to carryout a different exchange and bought all of the woman’s flowers so that she could go home.
The only catch, the woman would have to help Wilson carry the flowers to his squad car. Wilson could be heard making the request over a TikTok video captured by a passing civilian.
The video has received 35,000 likes after its posting at the start of the week.
