Dave Rhoden

Dave Rhoden has basically grown up in the tactical community but has worked in it officially since 2006. Spending almost nine years with 5.11 Tactical, he held many roles, progressing from sales rep to territory manager, to division sales manager, marketing brand manager, category manager and director of strategic business development.

In March of 2015, he and his wife left California, moved to Tennessee and started their own company, Flagrant Beard, specializing in belts, knives and other tactical apparel and gear. In 2016 he became a consultant for Vertx, helping them develop and market end-user driven products, and transitioned to full time with Fechheimer in September 2022 as their Director of Training and Field Marketing. Dave now travels around the country leading trainings and educating public safety professionals on how Flying Cross and Vertx combine to provide a solution for every mission.
