The Winchester 1897 rides again as the pump-action shotgun in Red Dead Redemption 2.
In this first video in a series on the guns of Red Dead Redemption 2, we take a look at the game’s Lancaster pump-action modeled after the venerable Winchester 1897. In the video, we test fire a Model 1897 12 gauge shotgun made in the 1930s and get it back into fighting shape by sawing the barrel off with a hacksaw.
