Fritz Reber is the Head of Public Safety Integration at Skydio. Before Skydio, Fritz was the UAS Commander with the Chula Vista Police Department. He retired after 27 years as the Patrol Captain in 2018. While at CVPD he developed and worked to implement the Drone as First Responder (DFR) Program and Live911. He authored the agency’s Concept of Operations for the IPP submission and co-authored the safety case for the CVPD BVLOS waiver as well as the recent Tactical BVLOS waiver.

Vern Sallee served with the Chula Vista Police Department for 25 years before retiring as the Patrol Operation Captain. At CVPD, he led the establishment and expansion of the department’s drone program, known for its groundbreaking “Drone as a First Responder” or DFR program, with over 9,800 flights in support of first responders. He has served as an expert for numerous UAS panels and presentations, including with the FAA and USDOJ and within the UAS industry and public safety sectors. He now works for Axon as the lead strategist for Axon Air, the company’s UAS division.

Erik Till is a Senior Product Marketing Manager at Skydio. He has more than a decade of experience growing early-stage startups, bringing complex, cutting-edge technologies to new markets. Erik previously served as Head of Marketing at DroneBase where he worked with a variety of customer industries benefiting immensely from adopting drone technology. More recently, Erik was VP of Marketing at Slingshot Aerospace, a company building space simulation and analytics products for customers including the US Space Force, US Air Force, NASA, Boeing, and more.
