This webinar presents a cutting-edge approach to substance detection and identification in correctional facilities through the integration of MX908 and MailSecur® technologies. As illicit substances continue to pose significant risks within these environments, the synergy between these advanced tools offers a robust solution for law enforcement and corrections professionals.

RaySecur’s innovative imaging technology employs terahertz (T-ray) detection to locate concealed substances inside sealed mail and personal items. This non-invasive screening method provides real-time visualization of potential threats, enabling rapid response and containment. Building upon this foundation, the MX908 device utilizes high-pressure mass spectrometry (HPMS) to deliver precise identification of detected substances. This tandem approach ensures that once a threat is localized, it can be swiftly and accurately characterized, facilitating informed decision-making and appropriate countermeasures.

The implementation of this integrated system addresses critical needs within correctional facilities. By enhancing the speed and accuracy of substance detection and identification, these technologies significantly bolster safety protocols, mitigate security risks, and streamline operational procedures. The result is a more secure environment for both staff and inmates, coupled with increased operational efficiency and resource optimization. This webinar is tailored for corrections officers, facility administrators, and law enforcement personnel seeking to enhance their substance control measures. You will gain insights into the technical specifications, operational protocols, and strategic benefits of implementing the MX908-MailSecur integrated system.

Join us to explore how this advanced technological integration can revolutionize substance management in your facility, setting new standards for safety and security in correctional environments.

By joining this webinar, you will be able to:

  • Explain the basic principles of MX908 and MailSecur® technologies and describe how terahertz (T-ray) detection and high-pressure mass spectrometry (HPMS) work in substance detection.
  • Outline the step-by-step process of detecting and identifying concealed substances using the integrated system.
  • Analyze the advantages of implementing the MX908-MailSecur integrated system in correctional facilities and evaluate how the system enhances safety protocols and mitigates security risks.
  • Identify potential scenarios where the integrated system can be effectively utilized in correctional settings.
  • Discuss best practices for incorporating the new technology into existing operational procedures.
  • Assess the impact of advanced substance detection on overall facility security and explore how improved threat resolution can optimize resource allocation and operational efficiency.
  • Outline the training needs for staff to effectively operate and interpret results from the new technology.
