LDV Custom Specialty Vehicles will showcase the Riverside County Sheriff’s mobile command center at IACP 2023.
The mobile command center was built by LDV on a Freightliner M2 106 conventional cab chassis with Cummins L9 350HP diesel engine with Allison 3000EVS automatic transmission. LDV integrated its custom-fabricated flat floor slide-outs to maximize the available interior workspaces. Each truck features a weatherproof exterior monitor compartment and a charging station. There is a lavatory with a flip-down step system complete with a pressurized water supply system.
The vehicle features a non-locking heavy-duty rear mast complete with a dome network IP surveillance camera system as well. Perimeter cameras are also installed. A complete emergency lighting and siren package is also included.
LDV’s exclusive Intel-I-Touch vehicle automation touchscreens are installed in the cab and vehicle interior to get the truck deployed quickly on scene. HDTV antennas are also installed.
Inside the command center is a front collaboration/workroom with flip-down bench seating and a fixed center conference table. A 65″ Newline TruTouch touch panel is installed on the front wall. Custom aluminum cabinets with dry-erase writing surfaces are included in each vehicle as well.
