ATLANTA — Four people suspected in a convenience store shooting were arrested following a high-speed pursuit involving a Tesla, WSBTV reported.

All four fleeing suspects were already out on bond for other crimes and have extensive criminal records, according to the records obtained by WSBTV.

Dash camera and helicopter videos show the Tesla speeding away from a pursuing officer. The suspects, dubbed “Besties in a Tessie” by the APD, drove recklessly, including driving the wrong way in traffic and nearly striking a pedestrian.

After several minutes, the suspect vehicle made contact with another car, causing the suspects to briefly lose control and weave across lanes of traffic. The driver appeared to regain control before coming to a stop.

The driver can be seen attempting to flee on foot but was quickly apprehended by police. A gun was found stuffed in his pant leg, according to the report.

The other suspects were taken into custody without further incident. All four suspects are being held in the Fulton County Jail without bond on numerous felony charges, including aggravated assault, possession of a firearm during the commission of a felony and gang charges, according to the report.
