TEXARKANA, Ark. — The Arkansas State Police have released dash camera footage in a pursuit that resulted in a rollover crash, according to a news release.

On Oct. 2, Arkansas State Police assisted the Texarkana Arkansas Police Department in a high-speed pursuit involving a stolen vehicle, according to the release.

ASP located the stolen vehicle, driven by a 17-year-old from Texarkana, and initiated a pursuit. The suspect reached speeds of approximately 95 mph, according to the report.

Video shows the suspect losing control while trying to pass another vehicle in the median, causing the vehicle to overturn and land on its roof.

After being treated and released from a hospital, the suspect was taken to a juvenile detention center. He faces felony charges of theft of property and fleeing.

The suspect, who was out on a $250,000 bond for a first-degree murder charge, is awaiting trial next month, according to the release. On Oct. 3, Miller County Circuit Judge Carlton Jones revoked the bond and set an additional $250,000 bond for the new charges.
