Benchmade was showing dozens of new-for-2025 knives at SHOT Show 2025. Here’s a roundup of what stood out to me.

Auto Triage, Tactical Triage and Bailout

The Auto Triage is packaged in high-strength aluminum with the speed and efficiency of the AXIS auto mechanism. It has a grippy dual scale of black aluminum inlaid with G10. A glass breaker and an automatic opening seatbelt cutting hook are included, making this knife perfect for motors and patrol. List price for SKU 9170SBK is $375.

Its cousin, the Tactical Triage, offers the same tools but in manual mode. The scales are G10. List price for SKU:917SBK is $300. An opposing bevel blunt-tip blade version is available for $280.

The Bailout is the perfect hideaway backup. Benchmade sells six anodized aluminum scale colors with glass breakers and two Grivory scales of this tanto-bladed knife. It is flat, light, has a deep carry clip and a lanyard hole. Pricing is $200-300 depending on the scale material.

SOCP Dagger and SOCP Rescue Tool

The 7.25'’ double-edged fixed blade SOCP Dagger is bolster- and scale-less and is designed to be the optimal tool for self-defense. It was designed by Greg Thompson to specifically address the needs of our nation’s most elite warfighters for an immediately available, reactive, emergency fighting knife during the rapid intensity that is Close Quarters Battle (CQB) or Direct Action (DA) operations.

The knife is intended to be utilized as an integral part of the Special Operations Combatives Program (SOCP), an officially designated combatives program for all U.S. Army Special Operations Forces. It is the standard program for fighting in full combat body armor across all services and some federal agencies. Greg has worked with Air Marshals, ATF, FBI hostage rescue, multiple state police, Army Rangers and others.

The SOCP dagger allows the user to maintain dexterity and manipulate other objects without dropping the knife. The MOLLE-compatible sheath integrates into gear and webbing while keeping a low profile. A combo pack is available that also includes a red trainer weighted to perfectly simulate the balance of the sharpened dagger. The list price for the dagger is $130 while the combo sells for $180. Black and tan sheaths are available. A mini version is $120.

In the video below, Police1 columnist Todd Fletcher interviews SOCP designer Greg Thompson about the SOCP Rescue Tool, designed for rescue performance and less-than-lethal self-defense.

The Bedlam is back!

Below, Police1 columnist Todd Fletcher checks out Benchmade’s Bedlam, originally a full-sized knife specially produced by Benchmade for the King of Jordan’s secret service protection. It is long-loved by Benchmade fans — and customers have been clamoring for it to be back in production. Benchmade’s answer is the Mini Bedlam, the same beautiful design but in a more digestible EDC version. This knife, inspired by snakes and pythons, is intense, but it is crazy how great it feels in your hand. Pricing depends on the scale material. Click here for more information.
