Police departments worldwide took to social media to post funny videos and photos in celebration of “Star Wars” day.
Each year, hundreds of thousands of fans show their appreciation for the films on May 4th, recognized on social media with the hashtag ‘#MayThe4thBeWithYou’, NBC News reported.
Last December, several departments released Star Wars-themed videos in celebration of the release of “The Force Awakens,” the seventh film in the series.The next installment in the franchise is set to be released in December 2016.
