HOBBS, N.M. — Sebastian Rios Sierra, 32, recently took police on a low-speed pursuit in an airport baggage tractor at the Lea County Regional Airport.
The incident, which occurred last month, involved Sierra crashing a stolen vehicle into the airport gate, where he proceeded to try and steal an airplane, according to KOB 4. From there, he tried to get away on an airport baggage tractor, which is used to transport suitcases to airplanes.
The pursuit took cops through residential neighborhoods. They used stop sticks and a TASER before arresting Sierra.
