ANAHEIM, Calif. — In recent weeks, there have been a string of incidents involving car window shootings on a Southern California freeway.
The latest incident occurred Monday afternoon on the southbound 57 Freeway, where a driver heard a boom and crackling of their car window, ABC7.com reported. The California Highway Patrol said a BB was fired, but didn’t pierce through the window.
Authorities also confirmed that a California Highway Patrol cruiser had a window shot out on the 91 Freeway on May 14, according to the report. Details surrounding the incident weren’t immediately available.
Three other incidents were reported Monday. CHP officials are still searching for the suspects.
